Jo Berry working with Back on Track and UCreate...
The four collages and drawings shown above are examples of some of the fantastic work that the the arts for health groups have produced in this first session. The collages were based on images I have been developing based on neuro imaging of the the brain in collaboration with the Institute of Mental Health at the University of Nottingham. As well as neuro imaging the groups looked at and were inspired by images and information taken from the exhibition at the Grundy Gallery, in Blackpool of the surreal world and work of the artist Zoe Belloff and some of the fascinating eccentric archival material housed at Blackpool Library Services.
I will be working with the group for eight weeks, which will result in an exhibition at Central Library.
